Reality Check, November 10, 2017

Category : Reality Check

Gary and Dee discuss current events.  Lyn is on vacation this week.  Our topics include: sexual harassment and assault; election results 2017; Trump’s Asian tour; Paradise Papers and Facebook’s ‘nude’ protection.  This past week, there were a lot of good things in the election results, especially in Virginia.   We seem to be in a ‘golden age’ of women standing up for themselves.  (IF such a thing can be called golden.)  How did Trump represent America on this trip abroad?  The Paradise Papers, another group investigation of multiple journalistic outlets.  We can’t wait to hear more from this reporting collaboration.  Facebook has an idea on how to prevent revenge porn.  They just want you to send in your nude pictures so that they can tag them to prevent future publication.  What could possibly go wrong with this?
