  1. Here’s a question which I would very much like to hear Bob and Kevin bat around for an episode.

“When is a trail not a trail?”

Hint: If it’s concrete, asphalt or hard-packed imported gravel …. and a mere 20 to 50 feet from a road, highway or street, is it really a trail? Likewise an exploration on the diminishing side of things might be worth some discussion as well, though probably not as much. What are the consequences of misnaming?

PS Congratulations on your appointment, Bob, to the Parks Advisory Board.

    • Hi Donna,
Sorry to be late to reply…I just now got word of your message here. Your question about when is a trail not a trail is interesting and worth looking into. I’ll add it to our list of discussion topics for the future. I am honored to have been chosen for the TOPS Working Committee and look forward to serving. – Bob
